About Me

[sara.jpg]
Growing up in Southeast Iowa, I was raised with good values, a strong work ethic, and an emphasis on family. After graduating from Burlington Community High School, I completed my A.A. Degree at Southeastern Community College before going on to Iowa Wesleyan College where I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. I began working with children and families in 1990 in a local child care center and continued in the child care field until 2004.  In 2004, I took a position with a local social service agency working with at risk youth and their families.  Combined, I have had the privilege of working with parents for over 20 years now and have found a passion in seeing parents enjoy parenting. I first became acquainted with Love and Logic in the late 1990's. I was hooked. Years later I would become reacquainted with Love and Logic and it was after being reacquainted I found myself wanting to bring Love and Logic to parents everywhere. I became an Independent Facilitator of Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® Curriculum in May 2010 and look forward to presenting these classes to parents in our community and surrounding areas.
